Sustainability Advocate and Marin Clean Energy (MCE) Director Dawn Weisz – 12.00 Noon on the Main Stage Ms. Weisz has 18 years of experience developing and managing renewable energy and energy efficiency programs and projects while working for leading public agencies in the field.  Before joining MEA Ms. Weisz was a Principal with County of Marin and served as the Executive Director for Sustainable North Bay. Ms. Weisz has been a guest lecturer for UC Berkeley and for the National American Planning Association.  She has also received awards from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the U.S. Department of Energy and the Power Association of Northern California.  MCE is the default electricity provider in Marin County. MCE procures electricity on behalf of its customers while PG&E continues to deliver energy and send the monthly bill. MCE is administrated by the Marin Energy Authority, a local not-for-profit public agency. Marin Clean Energy is a customer-based agency and does not rely on public funds or tax dollars.
