San AnselmoEarth Day Marin 2012 is looking for Marin teen talent to audition on Thursday, March 15 at 5pm at the Drake High School Little Theatre. Bands, singers, dancers, musicians, comics or any other talent are encouraged to try out.

Those selected will perform on the stage at Earth Day Marin TeenSpot on Saturday, April 21 between 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the Marin Civic Center Lagoon Park in San Rafael. TeenSpot, a coproduction of San Geronimo Valley Community Center and Earth Day Marin led by Drake High School seniors Tealy Gapinski and Marina Mano, will include teen performances, hands on activities, speakers, information about environmental issues, and space for teens to socialize during the festival.

Prizes will be awarded to the best talent at the Earth Day Marin Teen Stage. The top winner that also has a green theme will get the opportunity to perform on the main stage during the festival, which is expected to draw thousands of attendees.
